A small flower bed near the Union Buildings was recently transformed into a thriving vegetable garden, a powerful demonstration of what is possible when communities are given the right tools.
This initiative, led by the AgricultSURE team, was proudly presented to the Deputy Minister of Social Development, Mr. Hendriks. What began as a modest patch of land has become a living example of resilience, self-reliance, and the power of agriculture to change lives.
At Laeveld Agrochem, we believe that limited access to land should never mean limited access to food. Through AgricultSURE’s vegetable seed packs, households can grow enough nutritious vegetables to feed their families, no matter how small their space.
We extend our thanks to Owen Makumucha for capturing this inspiring story in photographs and for showcasing how a single seed can spark hope and abundance.
Together with AgricultSURE, Laeveld Agrochem is committed to cultivating success, food security, and dignity, sowing the seeds of change that nourish both people and communities.
