For many people living on the streets, finding safe shelter is an overwhelming daily challenge. Personal struggles with addiction, mental health, or the fear of losing what little they have left, often prevent access to traditional shelters.
Johan Eloff’s inspiring initiative, a haven of hope, is changing lives. The Roof-a-Ruffsleeper (Ruffpod) offers more than just a sleeping pod. It’s a dignified space to rest, recover, and begin again.
LAC Cares joined hands with this initiative by donating 62 Roof-a-Ruffsleeper units as well as Genesis Nutritional Products‘ gluten-free, high-protein meals packed with 55 essential nutrients.
We were able to capture a quick snapshot of the LAC Cares team during a recent meeting. A heartfelt thank you to this dedicated team – you’re making a real difference in our communities.
